Late in 2012 Ralph was approached by a former student to come to a meeting of the Mem-Erie Historical Society.
At that meeting the group decided they wanted to write a history of our town, Erie, Kansas.
The way it would work is that others would do the research and submit it to Ralph. Ralph would then organize and edit the submissions and prepare it for publication.
Over the next 16 months, 106 people submitted articles about Erie that made this 502 page book possible.
Copies of the book may only be purchased from the Mem-Erie Museum in Erie, Kansas.
