This book is divided into two parts. Part I is the Prequel to the "The Missouri Gold Raid" and gives the background of Major Shane Reynolds and the planning of the mission. Part II is the Sequel to "The Missouri Gold Raid" and follows the main characters from where the first book ended.

For Part II there are two "Final Chapters". Both ideas were thought of at the beginning, but a decision could not be made between them. Therefore, both were written and used so the reader can choose which one they like best..
